The 17-U Illinois Wolves advanced all the way to the Final Four of the Best Buy Twin Cities Summer Classic before falling to a tough and physical Net Gain team.

Injuries continued to shadow the Wolves who played without 6-4 guard Derek Tartt (Brewster Academy) who received stitches from an eye injury suffered in the Wolves Elite 8 contest. The Wolves were already without starting point guard Dyricus Simms-Edwards (Washington) who has a stress fracture, and 6-8 Nick Washburn (Mahomet-Seymour), who has a broken foot.

Against Net Gain, Conrad Krutwig (Jacobs) led the way with 16 points. He was backed up by 11 points from David Bryant (Batavia) and 10 points from Illinois-bound Joseph Bertrand (Sterling).

The Wolves advanced to the Final Four after defeating 94 Feet of Game 75-45 in the Elite 8.
