"What is the difference between
optimum performance and routine?
PREPARATION!"
As founder and head coach of the Illinois
Wolves A.A.U. basketball program, I have found that there are no
shortcuts. Excellence has a price. Our program is ranked in the TOP 5 in
the United States at our U-16 and U-17 age levels, and has been for the
past 4 seasons. Our players have received over 4 million dollars in
scholarships to schools such as North Carolina, University of Illinois,
Boston College, Southern Cal, Rutgers, Southern Illinois, Northern
Illinois, Valparaiso, and numerous others.
To excel at any level and any sport, speed, quickness, agility and
endurance are indispensable. We have found that any athletes, that push
themselves during the off-season to achieve this elite level of
conditioning, reap the rewards of excellence. The training our players
have received from the trainers at CORE1 has allowed them to compete at
the highest levels. The programs they offer are not only sport-specific,
but age friendly. We are delighted that the Illinois Wolves and
CORE1Training are teamed up for another season. We wish Jim and CORE1
team all the best as they continue to train tomorrow's headliners.

"Core1 does an exceptional job of training athletes through a
program that is specifically geared to the developmental level of each
participant. The trainers have a remarkable way of being patient with
each individual, understanding that every athlete develops at different
rates. In each session, they teach the importance of building a holistic
sense of athletic conditioning by modeling a goal-driven work ethic, in
an atmosphere that is stimulating and enthusiastic. I have seen
significant improvements in the strength, speed, and body control of the
female athletes that I work with at the junior high and high school
levels. As a Varsity Girls' Basketball coach and club team director,
it's important to help athletes find the motivation to perform at their
utmost potential. I believe that Core1 is an important first step in
making that happen."

My daughter started
the Core One Program this past winter. After being a successful
softball pitcher in both High School and Summer Travel for the last 8
years I had hoped that enrolling in the Core One Strengthening Program
would help her endurance and overall fitness, but I am surprised and
pleased to say it actually improved her pitch velocity. She progressed
from pitching a mid to upper 50 mph fastball to over 60 mph. She has had
great gains in strength and endurance after participating in the Core
One Program through this past winter. I believe it was the Core One
Program that helped her to a personal best record of 20 -1. She will be
staying in touch with her Core One Trainer while she is away at college
so she can maintain and improve her strength for the college season.

In the summer of 2006, Core1 started working with our River
Forest Raiders Program. We noticed a marked improvement in our
girls immediately. Based on that experience, we decided to have
Core1 run our 2007 fall pre-season conditioning for the
Trinity High School program. The improvement in our ladies’
fitness, strength, and agility has been remarkable. Our main focus,
besides getting them into shape physically, was to prepare them
mentally for the season. Your program helped them achieve that
goal; they have enjoyed the experience immensely. We have since
decided to have the program extended year round.
Thank you!

Core1Training has been a valuable resource in the athletic lives of
both of my children.
My son plays both travel soccer and travel baseball on some of the most
competitive local teams at his age group. Core1 has developed his
abilities in strength, agility, balance/stability, and power, which has
allowed him to excel in both sports and become a pivotal asset for each
team, play difficult & demanding positions, and see little to no "bench
time". Although small for his age, he is as physically strong & stable
as the boys he plays against, a deception he can use to his and his
teams' advantage.
My daughter began core-training after a rehab from a knee injury and
subsequent surgery in 8th grade. She is a now high-school
varsity/competition cheerleader as a sophomore, and has Core1Training to
thank for much of that success. Balance, core-strength, endurance, and
jumping ability are critical to cheerleading and Core1 has noticeably
improved her abilities in all of these areas. Her jumps are better than
they were before the injury, development of her core, shoulder and leg
strength has improved in her tumbling, yet her agility is in tact.
Stunts are compromised and the sport becomes dangerous for all
participants if not physically prepared, balance and endurance are key
and Core1 will get you there, quickly. Cheerleading is a VERY physically
demanding sport with a 9 month season. Core1Training has provided my
daughter with the tools to physically endure her passion without
incident.

My 16 and Under
traveling softball team has participated in Core 1 Training since
September, 2005. The results have been terrific - increased quickness on
the bases and getting out of the batter's box, increased power in their
swings, increased velocity on their throws and pitches, and improved
agility on their infield plays. We have basically shown improvement in
every offensive and defensive aspect of the game! The girls have been
participating in a maintenance program during their high school softball
season, and are looking forward to returning to their bi-weekly program
this summer. Core 1 Training is absolutely the best conditioning program
available! Our team has participated in several other local
"speed/conditioning" programs, and Core 1 Training is the only program
that has provided the training necessary to take our athletes to the
next level!

My 10 year-old sons
began Core1 Training this summer in order to increase their speed in
their favorite sports (baseball & basketball). We are already seeing a
big difference in their strength, speed, and agility in the other sports
they participate in: At their first cross-country meet last Saturday
they ran the 1-mile course in 6:45 and 6:55 to finish 12th & 18th out of
100 5th grade boys. On their travel soccer team, one has moved into the
starting line-up and his playing time as a midfielder is way up, while
the other's goal scoring has significantly increased. The boys always
look forward their Core1 workout night. The enthusiastic and expert
training and coaching they receive from the Core1 team are making a big
difference in their athletic development.
